Friedensen-Andrews
Ms. Victoria Pidgeon Friedensen and Mr. John H. Andrews, both of Herndon, were married on Aug. 6, 2008, at Pemaquid Lighthouse in Bristol, Maine.

The bride is the daughter of the late Donald C. Pidgeon and J. Berry Pidgeon of Annapolis, Md., and mother of Anne M. Friedensen of New York City, N.Y., and Rachel E. Friedensen of Philadelphia, Pa. She is employed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
The groom is the son of John R. and Rebecca H. Andrews of Fairfax and father of Jared R., Amber E., and Kiera M. Andrews, all of Herndon. He is employed by TASC. The couple will reside in Herndon.
 
Hovis-Stark
The marriage of Miss Rachael Rose Hovis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffery Hovis of Hanover, Pa., and Mr. Geoffrey Nelson Stark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Stark of Herndon, took place on June 7, 2008, at York Country Club in York, Pa.

Miss Priscilla Delano of Beaufort, N.C., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Natalie Vallandingham, sister of the bride, from Westminster, Md., Mrs. Katharine Stark, sister-in-law of the couple, from Richmond, and Mrs. Kara Rey from Killeen, Texas.
Mr. Nicolas Nowinski from Herndon was best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Justin Stark of Arlington and Mr. Bryan Stark of Richmond, brothers of the groom, and Mr. Peter Battaglia, formerly of Herndon, now residing in Philadelphia, Pa.
The bride and groom both received their graduate degrees from The Ohio State University. While pursuing their professions in residential life and student affairs, they both worked at Arizona State University and York College of Pennsylvania. The bride is currently the associate director of residential life at The Richard Stockton College in New Jersey. The groom is a second-year law student at Rutgers University in Camden, N.J. After a brief honeymoon in Cancun, the couple currently resides in Deptford, N.J.
