Herndon Ice Hockey Wins Title
The Herndon Ice Hockey Club won its first Northern Virginia Scholastic Hockey League title with a 4-1 win over McLean. The win clinches the title and guarantees the team a bye in the first round of the playoffs.
Hornets Gearing Up For C'ville
The Herndon High School Boy's basketball team has its sights set on the district tournament in late February. However there are still five regular season games remaining, all of which are district matchups. This Friday night is the highly anticipated rematch against the Centreville Wildcats. Centreville will be looking to avenge a 71-68 overtime loss to the Hornets on their home court in early January.
HHS Swimmers Perform Well in Loss
The Herndon swim and dive team took on Chantilly on Jan 23 at Audrey Moore Rec Center at 8:30 pm. The boys were defeated by Chantilly 162 to 156, but great performances were given by all.
