| Reston's Alliance for a Better Community has fielded a truly
outstanding team of community-minded candidates for the Reston
Association election. What they have in common is a dedication
to the concept of community and to Bob Simon's basic principles
which have made Reston such a unique place. |
| Jennifer Blackwell is currently serving as RA president
and is now running for a second term. During the past three
years she has devoted countless hours to her job and has worked
tirelessly to hammer out a compromise package of updated documents
to govern our homeowners association. We need her ability
to bring people with different viewpoints together for the
good of the community. |
| Mark Watts is a fresh face in Reston. He is living the Reston
dream, living, working and playing in our community. He has
a background in accounting and finance and is eager to apply
his skills to ensure the efficient operation of RA. He loves
the sense of community which we all enjoy and wants to contribute
his formidable energy to keep it that way. |
| Kathleen McKee is running for the South Lakes district seat.
She raised her family in Reston and has a long record of selfless
community service. To her, Reston is a wonderful home which
she feels she has an obligation to make even better. |
