| Reston Man Arrested for Online Solicitation for Sex |
| Fairfax County police have arrested six men, including a 26-year-old Reston man, for using a computer to solicit a child for sex. A seventh man was charged in federal court for the attempted enticement of a minor. |
| The Reston man was arrested on March 6. He was charged with two counts of use of a communication system to solicit sex from a minor, attempted indecent liberties with a minor, and carnal knowledge of a minor. |
| The investigation began after a mother observed alleged solicitation for sex on her 14-year-old son's home computer. All of the men involved are charged with making sexually explicit comments in online chats. |

| Police Seek Information in Health Club Larcenies |
| Fairfax County Crime Solvers is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a man responsible for larcenies at a health club in Reston. On Feb. 21 between 1 and 2 p.m. a man forced open lockers at the Reston Sport and Health Club at 11445 Isaac Newton Square. He took numerous items including an iPod, Blackberry, heart monitor, cellular phone, credit cards and cash. |
| The man then used several of the credit cards and stole more than $2,400 at an ATM. Surveillance cameras captured images of the man. He is described as black, about 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall and between 230 to 250 pounds. He has brown eyes, a shaved head and a mustache. | Police Arrest Man for Attempted Robbery |
| A 27-year-old man from Jeffersonton, Va., was arrested after he reportedly tried to steal a bike on April 10. Police were called to the area near Fairfax County Parkway and Fox Mill Road at 5:14 p.m. after a man jumped out of a moving truck and ran into a nearby neighborhood. |
| Moments later officers were dispatched to a robbery near Magna Carta Drive and Keele Drive where they located the man attempting to steal a bicycle from an 11-year-old boy and his 46-year-old father, both of the Oak Hill area. The suspect was subdued by officers and taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital for non life-threatening injuries. He was released from the hospital and taken to the Fairfax County jail where he was charged with attempted robbery. |

| • A tote bag and binder were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 2000 block of Approach Lane. |
| • Money was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 13100 block of Cooper Brook Way. |
| • A T-300 Bobcat was reported stolen from a construction site near the intersection of Leesburg Pike and Beulah Road. |
| • A radio was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 12000 block of Meadwoville Court. |
| • Beer was reported stolen from a business in the 2300 block of Soapstone Drive. |
| • A cellular phone was reported stolen from a business in the 1600 block of Washington Plaza North. |
| • A bicycle, suitcase and tent were reported stolen from a business in the 11400 block of Washington Plaza West. |
| • A 1997 Honda Accord was reported stolen in the 13100 block of Fox Hunt Lane. |
| • A 1997 Oldsmobile Achieva was reported stolen near the intersection of North Shore Drive and Charter Oak Court. |
| • A 1997 Oldsmobile Achieva was reported stolen in the 1800 block of Sycamore Valley Drive. |
