Bring Food to Donate at Parade
Delegate Tom Rust has teamed up with Herndon High School and Herndon Middle School to conduct a food drive for LINK during the Herndon High School Homecoming parade and football game. Due to the extraordinary high demand for food, the pantry at LINK is low. Food donations are desperately needed to stock the shelves. Rust and his team of volunteers will be collecting non-perishable food in children's wagons along the Homecoming parade, at the Homecoming game, and at his office (Town Hall, 730 Elden Street, Herndon). LINK is a local nonprofit organization who collects and distributes non-perishable food items to those less fortunate. Food will be collected at his office through October 9th. For more information, please contact Delegate Rust's legislative office at 703-437-9400.
