The Herndon Police Department reported the following incidents through Oct. 25:

BRUIN DISTRICT

• The victim was reportedly cut with a broken bottle during an altercation and warrants were obtained charging Josue Bello, 27, of Herndon, with malicious wounding at 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 23 in the 700 block of Alabama Drive.

• Brandon Green, 21, of Herndon, was arrested for possession of marijuana at 8:53 p.m. on Oct. 19 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.

• A FEDEX package that was delivered was reported stolen at 6:32 p.m. on Oct. 21 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.

• Food items were reported stolen from a delivery person at 6 p.m. on Oct. 22 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.

• Halloween decorations were reported damaged at 10:08 p.m. on Oct. 22 in the 500 block of Bowers Lane.

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT

• Jason Alexander, 40, of Ashburn, was arrested for attempted malicious wounding, abduction, felony destruction of property and reckless driving after an altercation with another motorist at 6:12 p.m. on Oct. 25. According to police he blocked the victim and a passenger in their vehicle after rear-ending the vehicle, and began pounding on the window until it broke.

• Beer was reported stolen from a business at 6:38 p.m. on Oct. 21 in the 1100 block of Crestview Drive.

• A paycheck and employee identification card were reported stolen from a locked vehicle at 12:24 p.m. on Oct. 24 in the 1200 block of Springtide Place.

• Graffiti was reported found in the area at 7:24 a.m. on Oct. 23 in the 1000 block of Crestview Drive.

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT

• An undisclosed amount of cash was reported taken from a business between 4 p.m. and 6:32 p.m. on Oct. 20.

• A digital camera was reported stolen from an office between 4 p.m. on Oct. 20 and 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 21 in the 100 block of Elden Street.

• Tani Haggerty, 41, of Woodbridge, was arrested for identity theft and obtaining money by false pretense at 10:50 a.m. on Oct. 22 in the 300 block of Elden Street.

• An unattended purse in a shopping cart was reported stolen at 7:01 p.m. on Oct. 23 in the 400 block of Elden Street.

• A bicycle and computer monitor were reported stolen from a garden shed at 2:16 p.m. on Oct. 24 in the 300 block of Reneau Way.

• Two unsecured bicycles were reported stolen from a side yard at 4:25 p.m. on Oct. 25 in the 700 block of Cordell Way.

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT

• Jeffery Jones, 46, of Jeffersonton, Va., was arrested for drunk in public at 5:58 a.m. on Oct. 20 in the 800 block of Elden Street.

• The victim reported two unauthorized charges were made on his debit card in Texas at 9:45 a.m. on Oct. 19 in the 1100 block of Snead Place.

• The victim's social security number was used to file a fraudulent tax return, which was reported at 10:02 a.m. on Oct. 19 in the 1000 block of Knight Lane.

• A cell phone was reported stolen at 2:02 p.m. on Oct. 23 in the 700 block of Bennett Street.

• A bicycle was reported stolen from a garage at 10:04 a.m. on Oct. 25 in the 800 block of Branch Drive.

• Alex Santos, 20, of Reston, was charged with underage possession of alcohol at 2:35 a.m. on Oct. 24 in the 800 block of Locust Street.

CENTER DISTRICT

• The victim reported he was assaulted by five Hispanic males at 11:23 p.m. on Oct. 20 in the 1000 block of Alabama Drive.

• Repair work was done on a vehicle and the owner of the vehicle reportedly failed to pay at noon on Oct. 19 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.

• Several unauthorized purchases were made on a victim's credit/debit card between 8:42 p.m. on Oct. 20 and 9 a.m. on Oct. 21 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.

• A GPS unit was reported stolen from a vehicle at 2:01 a.m. on Oct. 24 in the 1300 block of Dublin Place.

• Moises Mejie Orellana, 49, of no fixed address, was arrested for drunk in public in the 900 block of Herndon Parkway.

• Jose Zamora, 41, of Herndon, was arrested for drunk in public in the 1000 block of Elden Street.

• Carlos Flores, 26, Izaguirre Alfaro, 37, David Perez Mana, 41, and Jose Vasquez Najarro, 30, all of Herndon, were charged with trespassing at 10:02 a.m. on Oct. 22 in the 1100 block of Elden Street.

DUIS AND OTHER OFFENSES

• Vijay Sagar Katari, 25, of Herndon was arrested on a fail to appear warrant at 12:56 p.m. on Oct. 24 in the 1400 block of Summerset Place.

• Kevin Thomas Croghan, 30, of Reston, was arrested on a larceny warrant from Leesburg at 10:24 p.m. on Oct. 22 in the 700 block of Dranesville Road.

• Town of Herndon Police reported one incident of reckless driving, 16 incidents of speeding, two incidents of no operator's license, seven incidents of driving on a suspended or revoked license and 33 incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
