Vehicle Decal Deadline Nov. 15
Town of Herndon residents must buy and display 2010 vehicle decals by Nov. 15, after which, Herndon police will begin ticketing those without decals. Residents may send copies of vehicle registration along with payment to the Herndon Municipal Center, 777 Lynn Street, Herndon, VA 20170. Citizens may also bring current vehicle registration to the center for payment. Decals may be purchased at the HMC during regular business hours, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Mon.-Fri., as well as during extended hours on Nov. 12, until 7 p.m., and Nov. 14, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The vehicle decal rate is $20 for vehicles weighing 4,000 pounds or less, $25 for vehicles over 4,000 pounds, $10 for motorcycles and $6.50 for small trailers and boat trailers weighing no more than 5,000 pounds.
